Are there any arguments against releasing these pages into the main space when an official named was confirmed in any coverage (website/magazine/interview)? I think there should be a date to remove potentially false information after the release of the game but that's about all. -- 13:40, 22 July 2018 (UTC)

:As long as these pages are kept strictly separate from pages for previous games, I don't see a problem with it. The main issue is avoiding stuff like Taunt, where we mixed guesses from one game with confirmed info from previous games. 12:11, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
::Ditto. I think everything's fine for release on the main space.-- 18:04, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
:::I've got an idea. What if we adjusted the Unreleased template to have a disclaimer like the trailers. "This article is based on officially-published information about a game that's yet to be released. The information may be changed when the game releases." And then make it a policy that the template can only be removed 1) After the release of the game, and 2) After the content of the article has been verified within the game. That way, if the info is changed when the game comes out (say, Woody is suddenly cut from Toy Box), we just point to the Unreleased template and use it as our disclaimer, and can say "Look, this is what Square Enix officially said would be in the game, and up until the release, that's what we expected. We're working to verify each article and ensure that what we expected is there, and what was cut is moved to the Removed content page." And with the way we are as far as strictly demanding official confirmation of things, we'd have the most accurate articles on what's expected in Kingdom Hearts III. 05:52, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
::::Sure. As long as we remember that KH3FM will also count as a separate game, and that any material from KH3FM will have to be kept separate until that game releases too. (Or, as the case may be "Episode Mickey", "Episode Demyx", "Episode Philip"). 12:14, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
:::::I don't have a problem with it. Maybe the template can say that the information is completely made up of information from trailers and translated interviews, and is subject to change or alternate interpretation. One question, though: is this only for new characters, worlds, etc. or also for returning characters? In order words, are we completely removing the no trailers rule or make an exception for new articles? 17:33, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
::::::Agree with KSM's proposal, as well.
::::::I'm guessing it's for new characters and worlds. I mean, I don't think it'll make much of a difference (personally) either way, considering the game isn't even out yet and the articles are going to be relatively barren until it's officially released, and who-knows what changes will be made in the meantime in the game. We will be hiding the text as usual, as to adhere to the basic spoiler policy, right? Buzz's page, for example, has a draft detailing what was shown in one of the trailers, but the community agree with that no content from trailers should be allowed in articles until the release.-- 17:44, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
:::::::Information from trailers should be fine, as long as the article clearly marks that it's conjecture based on the trailers, and it's completely segregated from published game content. 13:02, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
::::::::I think we should get these in the mainspace. The game is five months away, which is a long wait. And right now, the Buzz Lightyear page title redirects to the list of cut content when users are looking for the KH3 character. Content for past games were created in the mainspace before they were released. Mainspacing could resolve the red links around KH3 content. The templates wouldn't generate "KH3 Drafts/" categories when you fill the World parameter. Mainspacing them early would be the best idea. *"which is a long wait" -- that's kind of a point toward it being premature.
*"redirects to the list of cut content" -- that's the current confirmable content.
*"Content for past games were created in the mainspace" -- and were heavily filled with errors.
*"Mainspacing could resolve the red links" -- That's not an actual bug.
*"when you fill the World parameter" -- That's not an actual bug.
:We can definitely mainspace what information we have, marking it as based on conjecture, but we absolutely shouldn't be marking it as confirmed like in the game icons or infoboxes.
::Remy, Anna and Flynn Rider didn't seem that ready for mainspacing. In fact, the Buzz Lightyear page is looking more complete than the three you mainspaced. You know, maybe it's better to wait for the game. SeanWheeler (talk) 21:27, 16 August 2018 (UTC)
