In an interview in the September 25, 2014 issue of Famitsu, before the release of ''[[Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX]]'', Tetsuya Nomura expressed regret that ''Kingdom Hearts 3D'' would be the only completed installment of ''Kingdom Hearts'' not remastered in HD.
