Tired of a life of luxury and living at the palace, Jasmine leaves while in disguise but is attacked by a [[Bandit]] [[Heartless]]. She is saved by Aladdin, to whom she reveals why she fled: her father is forcing her to marry a prince. When guards came to capture Aladdin, Jasmine revealed herself and demanded the boy's release.

With the help of the [[Heartless]] and the support of [[Maleficent]], [[Jafar]] has taken over Agrabah and is searching the city for Jasmine. Sensing the danger, she escapes the palace with the help of [[Aladdin]]. While hiding, Aladdin leaves for the Cave of Wonders to find the Genie of the magic lamp. Unaware of Aladdin's destination, Jasmine asks [[Sora]] and company if they would search for him. After the request, Jafar appears and summons Heartless; a battle ensues which allows Jasmine to escape while the others fend off the Heartless. 

When Aladdin and Sora return to Agrabah, they discover that Jafar has kidnapped Jasmine and attempt to rescue her, only to fail and lose Genie's magic lamp altogether. They locate Jafar, Genie and Jasmine in the [[Cave of Wonders]]. Catching up with Jafar, Aladdin and Sora fight him to rescue Jasmine. Unknown to them, [[Riku]] comes and takes Jasmine to [[Hollow Bastion]], where she was held captive with the other princesses in the Great Hall of the castle.

By the time all the princesses are gathered, her heart is stolen and used to open the [[Final Keyhole]], and in turn used to create the [[Keyblade of heart]], but it is later restored with the brave sacrifice of Sora. With the help of the other five princesses, she uses her power to contain the darkness lurking out of the Keyhole until Sora could seal it. After the Keyhole was closed, she resides in Hollow Bastion along with the other princesses in order to protect the castle with their collective power.

When [[Kingdom Hearts]] is sealed, she returns to her own world and is last seen kissing Aladdin in his house, observed by [[Genie]] and [[Abu]].

Jasmine appears as a figment of Sora's memories in the Agrabah floor of [[Castle Oblivion]]. She is kidnapped by Jafar, who wishes to marry her, but is later rescued by the combined efforts of Sora and Aladdin.

===''Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days''===
On day 25, Jasmine meets up with Aladdin to discuss the city's efforts to rebuild after a recent sandstorm, which he is leading. Xigbar and Roxas observe from a distance as Jasmine expresses concern for Aladdin's exhaustion, and wistfully ponders Genie's absence.

On day 51, Roxas observes as Aladdin informs Jasmine of another sandstorm, accompanied by the appearance of Heartless all over Agrabah.

On day 97, Roxas again observes as Aladdin updates Jasmine that the sandstorm has suddenly disappeared, unaware that Genie had dispersed it as a secret favor to them on day 75, but reminds her that the Heartless are still prowling. After Roxas defeats the [[Antlion]] that had been generating the storms, Aladdin and Jasmine notice that the Heartless have also started thinning out, and happily get back to work rebuilding.

Sora and company reunite with Jasmine when they arrive at the palace in Agrabah. She notices that Aladdin has seemed dejected lately and is worried about him. In the mean time, Jafar's parrot, [[Iago]] does his best to earn everyone's trust. At first, Jasmine does not trust him, but this changes after she sees him help Sora and his friends, and she recognizes his good intentions.

When Sora and the others return to Agrabah, they find out that Jafar had been released from his lamp prison. While they are led to the desert by Iago on a false lead, Jasmine is kidnapped by Jafar. She is saved after Sora defeats Jafar.

The [[DTD]] dataspace in [[Space Paranoids]] is sealed with a password composed of the seven Princesses' names: "Belle, Snow White, Aurora, Alice, Jasmine, Cinderella, Kairi".

Some time after Xemnas's defeat, she takes a ride through the skies of Agrabah with Aladdin, Genie, and Carpet.

[[Data-Sora]] is asked by Data-Aladdin to find Data-Jasmine for him. Once Data-Sora finds Data-Jasmine, Data-Jafar appears and a battle ensues. Data-Sora and Data-Jasmine meet up with Data-Aladdin and follow Data-Jafar to the Palace where Data-Jafar kidnaps Data-Jasmine. After Data-Sora seals Data-Agrabah, Data-Jasmine asks him to help out the palace that is currently being renovated by finding the needed extra materials. If Data-Sora helps Data-Jasmine out, he can trade bundles of 72, 85, or 99 scraps with her for synthesis items.

==Design==
Jasmine has an hourglass figure, dark skin, and dark brown eyes. Her thick, black hair is tied into a low ponytail in a blue ribbon, accompanied by a headband with a sapphire in the center set in a gold frame. Jasmine wears a blue bedlah outfit with long poofy bustle pants and a top which leaves her forearms and midriff bare. She also sports golden earrings, a golden necklace, and gold slipper-like shoes.

==Personality==
Jasmine is very clever, headstrong and determined, and longs for both freedom from the palace walls and the freedom to find her true love, much to her father's dismay, as he wants her to marry a prince.

==Abilities==
Because Jasmine is a [[Princess of Heart]], her heart contains pure light, and also holds the power to open the [[Final Keyhole]] when she is with the other six princesses. Since her heart contains no trace of darkness within, her body will remain in a dormant state if she loses it and remain so until it returns to her body. In addition, her heart, along with that of the other princesses, can be used to create the [[Keyblade of heart]], which allows the bearer to unlock anyone's heart. She has the power to hold back the darkness with the aid of the other princesses, though how this exactly done is unknown. She also has the power to sense darkness. Together, the princesses are able to upgrade Sora's [[Fire]] spell.

Jasmine first appears in ''Aladdin'' as the wealthy and beautiful princess of Agrabah who is loved by everyone in her kingdom. She has dreams about finding true love in her own time, but her father continues to persuade her into marrying a wealthy prince, saying a princess could only be equal to a prince. It is because of this that Aladdin doubts he would be able to be with the princess. However, he does not know that Jasmine does not desire her true love to be wealthy, but to love her. In other words, she loves Aladdin despite his lack of wealth. Aladdin doesn't realize this when Jasmine left her father and pet tiger Rajah home and ran away from palace life to disguise herself as a peasant woman. When Aladdin becomes Prince Ali, she doesn't realize it is the Aladdin that she loves until he mistakenly talks about Abu, and they later get married after the defeat of Jafar making Aladdin the sultan and Jasmine the Sultana.
