The Hero's Crest is a Keychain for Sora's Keyblade which appears in Kingdom Hearts II.

Design
Acquisition
The blade, hand guard, and tip are similar to Greek Ionic architecture. The teeth seem to take the form of a star, possibly referring to the fact that at the end of the storyline of the first game in Olympus Coliseum, there is a faint silhouette of Hercules in the stars, or Sora's, Donald's, and Goofy's silhouettes in the second game. The token is the symbol of the Gods of Olympus and the Olympus Stone Sora borrowed from Hercules to protect him from the magic of the Underworld.
Sora gets this after defeating the Hydra in Olympus Coliseum.

Other appearances
Trivia
The Hero's Crest is one of the Keyblades packaged with the Series 1 Play Arts Final Form figure.
*The name is similar to an item in the Fire Emblem series; this Hero Crest is used to promote members of the Myrmidon, Mercernary, and Fighter classes in several games in the series.
*Referring to a recent gameplay video, this keyblade is set to appear in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.
*This weapon is, in some instances, but used with Master Form, because after the first hit, all of Master Form's combos are considered Aerial Combos, therefore meaning that Air Combo Boost will enhance the damage of all finishing attacks in a Keyblade combo.

Gameplay
Appearance
The Hero's Crest boasts the Air Combo Boost ability, which increases the damage of air combo finishers relative to the number of hits in air combos. It synergizes well with the aerial combat-oriented Master Form, and its stats, combined with the Air Combo Boost ability, make it an ideal Keyblade for the majority of the game.
The blade, hand guard, and tip are similar to Greek Ionic architecture. The teeth seem to take the form of a star, possibly refering to the fact that at the end of the storyline of the first game in Olympus Coliseum, you can see a faint silhouette of Hercules in the stars, or Sora, Donald and Goofy's silhouette in the second game. The keychain is the symbol of the Gods of Olympia. The keychain is also the medallion you borrow from Hercules to protect you from the magic of the Underworld.
