In ''[[Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories]]'', Glide is a movement ability that can be used by [[Sora]]. It is automatically equipped when learned, and it is activated by pressing and holding {{button|c}} in midair, {{button|x}} in the Japanese release.

In ''[[Kingdom Hearts II]]'', Glide is a [[growth ability]] that costs 3 {{AP}} to equip. It allows Sora to glide by holding {{button|s}} in midair, slowly floating downward until he lands on the ground. When activated, Sora will remain in place until {{button|lana}} is tilted in a direction. Leveling it up decreases the descent angle of the glide, allowing Sora to stay aloft longer, even staying aloft permanently at LV3, as well as increasing his gliding speed. When using Glide, Sora can transition between it and other aerial actions. While Glide causes Sora to start slow and move faster according to the level of the glide, abilities such as a high-level [[Aerial Dodge]] give him momentum to start gliding at full speed right away.
