A shorter Memory Dive of "Simple and Clean" also plays when starting the game for the first time, featuring snippets of cutscenes from across the series. It is locked on Beginner Mode, and Sora is the sole playable character.

On Proud Mode, the track's notes are arranged to song's lyrics. Listen for each syllable to know when to place an input, and listen for when certain lyrics are held to know how long to press down the hold notes for, as well as for consecutive hold notes that appear during the track. Also pay attention for occasional alternating slide notes.

On Proud Mode, the timing for the inputs is much the same as for the Memory Dive, though occasional jumps are thrown into the mix. Watch for lyrics with extra emphasis, as Ability Crystal inputs tend to be attached to them. A short glide section also appears at the end of the track, requiring only a few turns between distanced glide notes. Unlike the Memory Dive, the Field Battle of "Simple and Clean" ends halfway through the song's duration.
