I believe that the Unknown is a experiment from the Organization XIII like Xion and the Riku-Replica. Proof? First off, him. Here are his similaraties to the Organization:

I. Xemnas - Character appearance and weapons.

II. Xigbar - Fast array of long-ranged attacks.

III. Xaldin - Whirlwind attack.

IV. Vexen - Defense against close-range attacks.

V. Lexaeus - Powerful close-ranged attacks.

VI. Zexion - Copycat likeness.

VII. Saix - Character model.

VIII. Axel - Fire attack.

IX. Demyx - Clone attack.

X. Luxord - Time.

XI. Marluxia - Ability to knock Sleights/Deck Commands away from opponent.

XII. Larxene - Extremely fast close-range attacks.

XIII. Roxas - A powerful hooded figure with the ability to heal.

It could be someone who actually started the organization but gave Xemnas (who may not know it) the job of Leader. I have a very STRONG feeling that the Unknown will be the Main Enemy of KH3D. {{Keyblade0Sig}}

...how am I wrong?  The Unknown and No Heart were created as data battles because THE STORY WOULDN'T HAVE TO BE EXPLAINED, meaning that there is not story connection.  {{The Inexistentsig}} 12:16, 7 August 2011 (EDT)

Actually, The_Inexistent, Normura has said that the Unknown battle is canonical, even though it doesn't make sense how it is possible, it will be revealed how later.

Personally, I think Unknown is Isa reborn - I'll bet Saix was destroyed after his heartless, so Isa was reborn, found by a reborn Xehanort, given etheral blades, and sent to the past to search for Ven and Aqua. {{User:LightRoxas/Sig}} 13:16, 7 August 2011 (EDT)

Just because something was created to not have a story at all, that doesn't mean it ''isn't'' canon.  So, yes, it can exist without a story. It could be. No offense to any of you guys, but I'm kinda hoping that BBSII won't be created. (Or at least have a second story in KH3D for BBSII) The sooner KH3 comes out, the better. {{Keyblade0Sig}}

-I have now realized something, everyone thinks that he is from the past, but I now believe that he is from the future. Why? Because during one of my hundreds of attempts today when he killed me, he was using a midair combo and the camera was panned just right when I saw: He was wearing Young Master Xehanort's pants and boots.
