::::::::The watermark is present on such images specifically to prevent other people from using them without permission. When we have the ability to use more ethical images, we have the responsibility to, whether or not they are the highest visual quality or not.
::::::::I'm okay with you hating what I did. The only thing that will change my mind on it is whether it is (1) against the consensus policies of the wiki, and (2) detrimental to the wiki's quality and legal standing.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 04:01, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
:::::::::Do you have any idea how furious i am about this. {{User:Byzantinefire/Sig}} 04:00, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
::::::::::Comments like that are non-progressive to the discussion. Follow the wiki's policy, or leave. It's as simple as that. [[Special:Contributions/173.244.48.195|173.244.48.195]] 12:42, 16 July 2017 (UTC)

::::::::::::You really need to stop being so possessive over this. [[User talk:Byzantinefire#NinjaShiek|Despite your claim elsewhere]], you do ''not'' "have a monopoly to maintain" regarding images; this is a '''collaborative''' project and should be treated as such. If you can provide a logical and reasonable argument for why allowing watermarked images or altering any given rule will help the wiki, the policy may be changed. Otherwise, it will stay as us. I don't personally agree with all the wiki's current policies, and I've brought them up before and will continue to do so. But that doesnt give me or anyone else the right to simply ignore them. Until they are changed by wiki consensus, all of us are subject to the rules on this wiki. {{KeybladeSpyMaster/Sig}} 17:07, 16 July 2017 (UTC)

::Again, because we are required, as a wiki, to respect copyrights, we cannot and we highly discourage the use of images that are too high-quality. It's in the license templates themselves. Therefore, the high quality of the images isn't of importance here, and it really shouldn't be of importance on any wiki running MediaWiki software. Also, I don't see how changing this rule will change the likelihood that people will cone to the wiki and edit. There's no direct correlation between the two. The only reason I could see for allowing them is because it's just easier, but given that screenshotting the trailers themselves isn't that much more complicated (I just have to push Windows+Pent Scrn), there really isn't a lot of advantage afforded by using the Disney-provided images. {{KeybladeSpyMaster/Sig}} 17:42, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
:::No one on the Disney Wiki seems to have a problem with it. {{User:Byzantinefire/Sig}} 17:56, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
::::This isn't the Disney wiki. They have their rules, we have ours. Respect ours here, respect theirs over there. {{User:Chainoffire/sig}} 18:13, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
:::::That would be like respecting the Sokovia Accords. {{User:Byzantinefire/Sig}} 18:20, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
::::::"Compromise where you can. Where you can't, don't. Even if everyone is telling you that something wrong is something right. Even if the whole world is telling you to move, it is your duty to plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye, and say, 'No, *you* move'." {{User:Byzantinefire/Sig}} 18:22, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
:::::::You can keep telling that to yourself or can start listen to the arguments made here. Watermarked images are lower quality by default, I'm not completely sure why you are constantly trying to convince us otherwise. On top of that we're still just talking about trailer screenshots here, which to 99% don't have any actual use here and may not even a representative for the final quality and content of the released game in the end. You are getting way too worked up about this non-issue. Finally, if this really was the Disney Wikia we would simply delete this whole conversation and block your account, a method that also seemed to work fine for yourself in the past.--{{User:ShardofTruth/Sig}} 18:44, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
::::::::Fine i consent but i never want to hear the word block again. {{User:Byzantinefire/Sig}} 18:46, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
