I would do it myself but I'm not sure what the "official" magazine colour scheme is. Should we do purple and gold like Jiminy's Journal (an image that we are seemingly associating with the magazine)? We could divide the navbar in two ways:
*Main pages: "KHWiki:Magazine" and the Journalist Spot.
*Issues: list all issues (e.g. KHWiki:Magazine/Issue 1)
*Comments: list all comment pages (e.g. Talk:KHWiki:Magazine/Issue 1)
*Journalist Spot Archives: list all archives of Journalist Spots (which by the way, we need to create).
*Templates: list all templates
The other version is:

Advertisement is doing okay, as far as what we can do. We could add the magazine to the welcome template, or do what I do and advertise it in a welcome message (I always add a message separate from the welcome template, and the last two weeks, I've been advertising the magazine in it. There's very little we can do without plastering it on every website or something drastic.

I think the Journalist Spot should be archived sometime after the publication of the issue. In this case, it'd be within the next couple days. But I don't know. Is it organized okay, or is there a way we could change it? Maybe we could create something like the Mirage Arena does and create a template for people to sign up on? I don't know.

Journalist Spot could be archived by making a new page "KHWiki:Magazine/Journalist Spot/Issue 1" and all the discussion and comments are copy'pasted onto the new page and then the normal Journalist Spot page is fresh to use for the next issue. However, the Keyhole is hosting this Journalist Spot so our one should just link to theirs.

I think it's a bad idea to add sections to the comments. It's restrictive and doesn't let people do general comments like "That was a great issue! Can't wait for the next one!". So I would break down all the sections and let people add section titles as they wish. By "handling", I meant what do we do if the comments get spammed, vandalised etc.}}

#I still haven't got an answer to whether I can upload all the title images here or not. I noticed a magazine image category has been created, so does that mean I have the go ahead for the uploads?
#When writing articles, I'd like a policy for links. Articles on the wiki should be linked as much as possible, using the wiki double square brackets. However, when linking to a page that only one wiki has, http links should be used, to prevent having to replace links between wikis. Http should also be used for links to specific wikis. Examples: On the Keyblade Master page, the link to the Keyblade War is <nowiki>[[Keyblade War]]</nowiki> so on the Keyhole it links to the Keyhole KW page and here it links to the KHWiki KW page. On the Top 5 list, flowmotion is linked as <nowiki>[http://www.khwiki.com/Flowmotion]</nowiki> because the Keyhole doesn't have a flowmotion page. In the KHWiki tasks the Side Scrolling link is <nowiki>[http://www.khwiki.com/Side-scrolling]</nowiki> because the task relates specifically to the KHWiki side scrolling page. The whole point of all this is to make the two versions of the mag as similar as possible, so the editor doesn't have to do a crapload of link replacing when they upload to either site. Does anyone have any opposition to this? And if not, where should I write this up so writers are aware of it?

Walkthrough images are allowed to be uploaded so there's no harm in having magazine ones. I'd use the naming format "File:Magazine x.png" (e.g. "File:Magazine Content Title.png").

Can't we use the [[Template:W]]? That way, we'd avoid having so many external links so that there's ugly arrow icons everywhere.

Sure, take the navbar. If you can, try to spruce it up more :P

The KHWiki's edit count requirement is 300 total edits. However, I think that's unbalanced for the Keyhole because afaik, there's less to do there. If I'm right, should we lower the Keyhole's requirement to about 50 or 100?}}

Xion4ever objects to uploading the images because she fears another situation like the Images for Deletion situation she faced earlier this year. However, I personally don't find a problem, because we'll keep using the images continuously on each magazine. I think I only object to uploading the images from Naminé's Sketchbook.

I feel like moving the KHWiki's edit requirement to 100, and pushing everything else up a level (150 for Mirage Arena, 200 for Featured Media, etc.). The reasoning behind this is that the Magazine, I feel, was meant to be the beginning of involvement, or I think it should be.

Uploading the images will be useful if we need to size anything. I know I had a problem not being able to format my image for the wiki tutorial.

Magazine isn't a beginning of involvement. It's something that requires lots of dedication and commitment. It makes more sense to start users off by merely voting on arenas or featured content and then actively participating in work later, once they're more experienced.}}

On images: In general, I do believe [user] images should be hosted off Wiki. I also understand that certain things cannot be done unless the image exists on the Wiki, such as galleries. However, this doesn't mean let's upload every image ever to exist for the magazine on here. A good summary to my opinion is: "What can be uploaded off Wiki should be off Wiki. What cannot exist without being on the Wiki should be on Wiki." Keep in mind though that this is just my opinion. Get others feedback and we can alter the policy accordingly. Oh, and I was very serious about making another articles for deletion category problem. If that happens...XION RAGE. Legit.

About the template: whatever is easier. If creating a new template is the [faster] method, go for it. I'm in agreement with FM on edit count. The magazine is indeed to encourage/create new users. However, if we open every gate of opportunity/reward as soon as they hit here, where's the fun in that? My greatest concern is that after 100 edits, who is actually ready to write good/quality articles? Who knows at least 75% of Wiki coding and format? What about the policies/rules? Unless the user already edits a Wiki or is older, chances are they won't know such things. I mean, they probably won't know everything after three hundred or whatever edits; heck, I'm learning new stuff on here everyday. BUT, hopefully by the time someone racks up 300 edits they will be more of a well-seasoned editor.

Guys, using the "khwikia" prefix allows us to link directly to the Keyhole (e.g. <nowiki>[[khwikia:Kingdom Hearts Wiki:Journalist Spot]]</nowiki>). I don't know what the Keyhole has for linking to here, but a template can be used if they don't have an interwiki prefix. But, yes, we can use templates to do the trick if you want, it'd be pretty simple.

EDIT: OK, that's sorted. From now on we can use {{T|KHWiki}} and {{T|Keyhole}} to link to either one, and the templates will work on both sites.  --{{User:Neumannz/SigTemplate}} 03:45, 6 July 2014 (UTC)

*The workload would be too demanding.
*And KH news would be so sparse that they'd be nothing to talk about.
But if you guys don't mind doing podcasts more frequently and there is a lot of KH news being released, then I don't see why we can't have multiple podcast episodes on the Round Room page. Do you plan on releasing them straight after they've been recorded, though? Or do you plan on releasing multiple episodes at once, in time with each new magazine issue? If you plan on doing the former, the podcast may need to separate from the magazine to keep release dates consistent and the Round Room page will be replaced with something else for the magazine.}}
Here's an idea. How about doing a news podcast along with the magazine, and discussion podcasts in between? We didn't have time for a discussion in the last episode, after all.  --{{User:Neumannz/SigTemplate}} 05:43, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
