I, for one, think that we SHOULD add the hearts to some articles we have confirmation for. On the Kingdom Hearts III page, in the story section, we have a statement from KH3's press release: "''Believing light and darkness must remain in balance, '''Master Xehanort''' seeks to spark war against the ‘tyranny of light’ to restore equilibrium. In an effort to undermine Xehanort’s plot, '''Sora, Donald and Goofy''' search for seven guardians of light and the “Key to Return Hearts,” while '''King Mickey and Riku''' search for previous Keyblade wielders.''". This statement alone confirms six characters to appear, and we have more interview statements from the references as well, so it wouldn't be entirely unreasonable to add the hearts to some pages. :While I do agree that those six characters will in fact appear in KH3, (It would be completely dumb not to include any of them.) having the policy "No Hearts until game release" makes things a lot simpler. I remember before DDD was released, there was a trailer showcasing Ursula, so I thought "Oh, Atlantica is going to be in KH3D." So, naturally, I put a KH3D Heart on the Atlantica page. (Of course it was reverted, and for good reason!) People can draw conclusions about anything and try to justify it. Just having this blanket policy avoids unnecessary conflict, misinterpretation, and provides a reliable source that can't be changed as it's the final product. (Because we know how trailers/interviews have changed as the series has progressed.) However, The Keyhole doesn't have that policy, so feel free to add them there. {{User:Chainoffire/sig}} 07:50, 3 October 2016 (UTC)
::The previous consensus was "only if the development staff confirm that the topic will be covered in the game". For example, if the Keyblade War is said to be the ''point'' of the game, it's incredibly unlikely it will be removed. However, virtually everything else that appears in a trailer is subject to removal or revision, like the Organization appearing at the Great Crest in the KH2 trailers, or the Behemoths and Wyverns in the 1000 Heartless battle.
::That being said, the concept of "has this actually been verified or not" has clearly proven to be a slippery line for new editors to grasp, so I have no issue with community consensus shifting to disallow them on unreleased games completely.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 13:52, 3 October 2016 (UTC)
:::Alright, I'm fine with either way. [[User:Rex Ronald Rilander|Rex Ronald Rilander]] ([[User talk:Rex Ronald Rilander|talk]]) 02:41, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
