Right now, we have Vortex as the ability but Vortex (Lance) as the item, contrasted with Glacier and Deep Freeze as the items and Glacier (ability) and Deep Freeze (ability) as the abilities. Also, Balloon as the ability, and Balloon (item) as the item. There's also Explosion, which has three different, similar abilities all parsed, with no clear reason why they aren't one single article.

We need to determine what the process is for determining which articles get the main title and which get parsers, and we need to set a task to go through all the parsed articles, confirm that they are parsed and, if applicable, disambigged correctly. 10:03, 23 April 2016 (UTC)

:In my opinion, the main title should go to the subject that would be most familiar with readers. Therefore, I would give precedence to techniques over items since I'd imagine more people search for "Vortex" than "Vortex (lance)", although that's debatable. I think that techniques should share pages as much as possible so the three Explosions should be merged. 13:17, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
::I think we should make a list of categories, like "ability" and "weapon", and order it by priority. So, every time we get a name with multiple uses, we can look at the list and use the name without parser for the thing that is higher on the list, and use parsers for all other things. I think we should also have more consistency in capitalization of parsers. For example, we capitalize "Command" and "Lance", but not "ability" or "shield". I think we should capitalize all parsers or none. 14:55, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
:::I'd prefer capitalizing none. Also, I think parsers like "Lance" shouldn't exist; the name of the page should be Vortex (weapon). If we make a priority list, I'd go with the general order, plot-oriented articles > techniques > items > other gameplay stuff > real-life/game articles/merchandise. 15:09, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
::::I disagree. I think we should captilize all as the "Command" parser comes from Deck Commands and Reaction Commands. Rex Ronald Rilander (talk) 04:53, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
