::Well, the Xehanort disambiguation page awkwardly uses full sentences. I've always viewed the disambiguation pages as follows: the different possibilities a search term could mean (let's use "Xehanort" for an example) complete's the sentence that appears at the top of the disambiguation page. For instance, using "Xehanort," let's say the disambiguation page says "Xehanort could mean:" and then we go on to list all the possible things "Xehanort" refers to within the series. If Master Xehanort is the first page we link to on the "Xehanort" disambiguation page, the sentence "Xehanort could mean..." would be finished with "the Keyblade Master who seeks to create a world where light and darkness exist in perfect balance." Then let's say we want to link to Terra-Xehanort. The sentence "Xehanort could mean..." would then be finished by "The possessed body of Terra, who later came to be one of Ansem the Wise's apprentices." I don't like using full sentences on the disambiguation pages, so while the different bullet points technically aren't sentences, they ''do'' finish a sentence, which is the sentence that appears at the very top of the page. - {{User:EternalNothingnessXIII/Sig}} 15:46, 22 July 2014 (UTC)
:::I agree with FM and ENX in that the phrases should be punctuated. First of all, yeah, the Xehanort disambiguation page is really...wordy. But look at it this way: All of the entries in Jiminy's Journal and the Reports all use fragmented sentences to start each character entry. They all end in periods. I know, ''Kingdom Hearts'' isn't the expert in English grammar, but to be fair, you won't find anywhere whether we should punctuate fragments or not because just having fragments is grammatically incorrect. I've checked, and all the websites convert the fragment into full sentences; they don't mention whether we should punctuate fragments. Here's what is true: on each website, they punctuate the fragment. So, I think, technically, fragments are supposed to be punctuated, though the fragment itself is grammatically incorrect. {{KeybladeSpyMaster/Sig}} 15:59, 22 July 2014 (UTC)
The Xehanort disambiguation page (at least up until less than 30 minutes ago) is absolutely not a good example of a good disambiguation page, or really, anything at all. From Wikipedia: "Keep in mind that the primary purpose of the disambiguation page is to help people find the specific article they want quickly and easily." That page was overwrought and overpopulated with false entries. ''PLEASE'' do not use it as evidence of how anything ''SHOULD'' be. Hopefully now it's better.
Jiminy's Journal and the Reports should also not be our role model. They are composed as notes written, not as paragraphs from an essay, and not as encyclopedia entries. Do not extrapolate from them.
As for periods, this is not an article, so full sentences are not a primary concern. I don't know what websites KSM is referring to, but the bullet points are a list, and typically, you do not follow the entries of a list with periods, even if you preface it with an introductory line.
For example:
<blockquote>Please buy:
*Eggs
*Milk
*Garbage bags
*''Indiana Jones and the Interior World''
*Ted Danson</blockquote>
