Editing Forum:About the SEIWA — what do we tell people?

Getting a wiki to join SEIWA is brilliant, granted, but when it comes to explaining the full idea, what should we say? I'm not the best person with words, and I'm sure we'll need whatever we tell people about SEIWA to be highly convincing. The rules on the current SEIWA page state but this: ''ANARCHY!'' and we wouldn't wanna showcase that...... yet...... so, which leads me to the title of this forum. What do we tell them?

Also, on a side note, I've gathered a list of SE-related wikis [[User:Troisnyxetienne/Mensa#List_of_franchises_and_single_games_for_SEIWA|<font color=gold>here</font>]]. Three wikis from this list have expressed interest in joining us. Plus the German Final Fantasy Wiki, that'll make four.

DTN has the link, so people can start discussing the thing there. Of special note is the thread on the policies, which we are going to need community approval on before finalizing.}}

-{{Sove|time=20:38, 5 July 2011 (EDT)|roxastalk=There won't be any database locks, I found it's just totally impossible to do the userbase importing. It can be done when it's only one wiki but if there are multiple wikis involved, it's impossible without using a system like Wikia, but doing that would break the idea of SEIWA. Therefore everyone needs to register to the forums separately, it shouldn't be too hard task for anyone, the CAPTCHA can be temporarily disabled if somebody is having troubles reading it.
-As DTN said, the forums and the site are not ready yet, not even close, and that's a part where community's help is needed. As of now, there are two topics; one for the rules and one for the forum privilege policy. Both need discussion. We also need a personalized style but that's a future thing.
-Staff members will be placed into the group KHWiki Staff (similar usergroups will be made for the joining wikis as well) which also gives them the usertitle mentioning their position as a staff member. For staffers: If you register and I'm not present on IRC, you can ask Kryten or DTN to place you into the group (if either one is present).
