At its core, the track is a combination of "Night in the Dark Dream" and "The Silent Forest", reflecting the Forest of Thorns' nature as the remnants of [[Enchanted Dominion]] within the [[Realm of Darkness]]. Instrumentally, the piece is led by strings and piano, as well as an oboe. A snippet of "The Secret Whispers" also plays at the start of the track.
