==Synopsis==
[[Riku]], envelopped by darkness, invites [[Sora]] to join him, claiming [[Kairi]] is coming as well. When Sora is surrounded by darkness, a bright light appears, and Sora finds himself at the [[Secret Place]]. There, he sees Kairi standing in front of a door. Suddenly, the door opens and a gust of wind sends Kairi flying. When Sora tries to catch Kairi, she passes through him. The darkness tries to swallow Sora again, but he hears the voice from his dream again, and summons a [[Keyblade]].


Meanwhile, [[Donald]] and [[Goofy]] leave [[Disney Castle]] in the [[Gummi Ship]], accompanied by [[Pluto]] and [[Jiminy Cricket]], while [[Minnie]] and [[Daisy]] see them off.
'''Light in the Hand''' continues where [[Kingdom Hearts Vol. 1/Invader|Invader]] left off, [[Riku]] is pleading with [[Sora]] to join him in the darkness. When both are overcome by the it, Sora is shown floating in the darkness when a light appears in the top corner of the panel. Sora is then transported to '''the Secret Place''', where he sees Kairi. When Sora calls out to her to begins to fly towards him, Sora extends his arms to catch her, but she is just an illusion and goes right through him. Right at that moment a voice calls to him, saying "''Don't be scared. You posses the strongest weapon in the world..." The [[Kingdom Key|keyblade]] then appears in his hand in a burst of light and the scene cuts to [[Disney Castle]]
