==Synopsis== | |||
While unconscious, Sora has a flashback to a scene from his childhood: A young Riku and Sora stand outside the Secret Place, discussing the cave's contents. Thinking there to be a monster, the two determine that regardless of what lies ahead, the two can handle it- together.
The scene returns to the present, as Sora regains consciousness. He finds Pinocchio fighting with Donald over the Gummi Block Cloud recently gave them. Pinocchio argues that it is his, which causes his nose to slightly grow. Jiminy appears, scolding Pinocchio for lying. Jiminy explains that he is the boy's conscious. However, the two were separated from each other when they lost their world. Pinocchio promises to never lie again, his nose returning to normal size. Jiminy is pleased, reminding Pinocchio that in order to become a real boy he must be good.
Pinocchio | Pinocchio takes the group to a shipwreck inside the whale's mouth. There they meet Geppetto, who explains the family's plan for the Gummi blocks. Pinocchio leaves, in search of more Gummi blocks. While the group talks with Geppetto, they are interrupted by hearing a scream. A giant Heartless runs into the area, revealing a caged Pinocchio. The Heartless fleas, prompting Sora to give chase.
== | The group follow the Heartless to an open chamber, where they find Riku. Sora calls Riku out, asking if he realizes what he is doing. Riku spouts back, asking if Sora is really interested in saving Kairi. Riku then goes on to explain how this puppet may be of use for Kairi. Sora questions about Kairi, only to be ignored. Sora summons his Keyblade, explaining how his conscious is telling him Riku is on the wrong side.
