Episode 23: The Last Wish, also called Episode 23: Final Prayer, is the twenty-third chapter in the Kingdom Hearts manga.

The front page shows Chip and Dale eating rice in the Gummi Ship. The back page shows Jafar's lamp.
Synopsis
While Genie Jafar is being returned to his lamp, he grabs Iago, sealing the two within. A piece of paper falls on Sora's face. He easily determines it is a page from Ansem's Reports. Donald, Goofy, and Genie congratulate Sora on his victory. Genie takes Jafar's lamp, determined to get rid of it by burying it. Sora seals the world's Keyhole just as the cave starts to collapse. Sora and Donald jump on the Carpet, telling the others they have to leave. Aladdin starts to refuse, mentioning Jasmine. Sora pulls Aladdin on, saying Jasmine has been taken to a different world. The three leave, eventually noticing the missing Goofy. Unable to turn around, Aladdin uses his second wish to save Goofy.

Story
Back at Aladdin's House, Donald glares at Sora who accidentally forgot to keep the secret of other worlds. Aladdin asks the group if he can go with them, only to be told no. Genie suggests that Aladdin use his final wish to find Jasmine. Aladdin uses his final wish for Genie's freedom. Shocked and very happy, Genie hugs Aladdin, claiming them to be best friends. Sora promises Aladdin that they will find Jasmine. Before the trio leaves, Genie gives them his old lamp, saying they can use it to call him when they need him.
Jafar gets sucked into his lamp, pulling Iago with him. A page of Ansem's Report is left behind. While Genie buries Jafar's lamp, Sora locks the Keyhole. Closing the Keyhole causes the cave to start collapsing. Sora, Donald, and Goofy want to leave on the Magic Carpet, but Aladdin is still looking for Jasmine. Sora blurts out she's in another world, and they leave. During the flight, Goofy falls off the Magic Carpet, but Aladdin uses his second wish to save him. Back in safety, Donald is angry at Donald for telling Aladdin about other worlds, while Aladdin begs to go with them. When Donald explains it's against the rules, Genie reminds him he still has one wish left, and suggests he wishes for him to find Jasmine. Aladdin takes the lamp and wishes for Genie's freedom, as he promised. Sora, Donald, and Goofy promise to find Jasmine, and Genie gives them his lamp, which they can use to call him.

In Hollow Bastion, Maleficent checks in on Riku, sitting in his room.
The scene goes from Olympus Coliseum to Hollow Bastion, where Maleficent is first seen. She walks to Riku's room, asking him how he feels.
