The original version of "Dream Eaters" is led by a xylophone, guitar, brief strings, drums, and child "la" vocals. The first instance of the vocals is a solo, while the second instance uses more vocals. The version in ''Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover'' and ''Kingdom Hearts Union χ'' is mostly identical, though it lacks the "la" vocals.
