In ''Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance'', Diving Strike is a command exclusive to [[Dive Mode]]. It can be activated by pressing {{button|dsa}}, {{button|x}} in ''[[Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD]]''. When used, the user doubles their speed, hitting enemies along the way. Diving Strike can be used 3 times in a row to form a combo. Diving Strike deals 40 damage, instantly defeating any regular enemy it hits.

In ''Kingdom Hearts III'', Diving Strike replaces the attack command when [[Sora]] or [[Kairi]]{{RM}} falls from great height. It can be used to inflict damage, or break large objects containing treasure chests. Sora's version has him pause in midair before piercing the ground blade-first and generating a shockwave that can strike multiple enemies, while Kairi's version is identical to her [[Strike Shift]] attack.
