The '''Circle of Life''' is a [[Keychain]] for [[Kingdom Key|Sora's Keyblade]] that appears in ''[[Kingdom Hearts II]]''.
The {{nihongo|'''Circle of Life'''|サークルオブライフ|Sākuru obu Raifu}} [[Keyblade]] is from ''[[Kingdom Hearts II]]''.  In a way, it almost replaces the [[Jungle King]] from ''[[Kingdom Hearts (game)|Kingdom Hearts]]'', except the Circle of Life is much stronger at its point in the game it is obtained than that of the Jungle King.

This Keyblade also appears in the ''[[Birth by sleep (Video)|Birth by sleep]]'' secret video; its cutting edge can be seen after the storm blows at [[Terra]].
The handguard of the Circle of Life is comprised of two large fangs that curve downward and do not connect to the pommel of the handle. The rainguard and Keychain are both lion heads, specifically the head of [[Simba]] as drawn by [[Rafiki]] in ''The Lion King'' film. When in [[Halloween Town]], the lion head on the rainguard gains stitches on its ears and down its forehead. The blade is a short wooden shaft that extends upwards a little, then curves into a backwards C-shape. The C-shape is wrapped in white cloth strips and wooden spikes protrude from the wrappings, which serve as the teeth of the key. The chain of the Keychain seems to be a vine, rather than metal links.


The Keyblade is named after the song "{{c|Circle of Life|track}}", from ''The Lion King'' film; the circle of life itself is also a major plot point of the film, taught to Simba in the beginning of the film by [[Mufasa]], and emphasized by his spirit when he tells Simba to return to the Pride Lands and take his place as king in place of [[Scar]].

It looks like the Keyblade is made of wood, possibly symbolizing the fact that it is received from the Pride Lands.  The chain of the keychain is a vine, rather than metal links. The guard and keychain is a lion head, specifically the head of Simba as drawn by Rafiki in the movie ''The Lion King''. Its name comes from the theme and a song from the first Lion King.
