Unlike most keyblades featured in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Chaos Ripper appears to be a keyblade of darkness. This is because of it's dark colouring and it's obvious lean towards offence. It's yellow and blue eye, shared with the other weapons are all featured on weapons of Darkness save for the Way to the Dawn. This could be possible because of Terra's strong connection with the darkness, and could have been meant to foreshadow his eventual loss at the hands of the darkness within himself. | |||
