the synthesis materials
Blazing is a material type that is found in Kingdom Hearts II used in Item SynthesisThe Blazing materials, representing Fire, replaced the Blaze materials from the original game. Like the other elemental materials, they come in all four forms: Shard, Stone, Gem, and CrystalIn addition, the Blazings are one of the basic eight materials, so collecting 30 Blaze Shards, 25 Blaze Stones, or 20 Blaze Gems will open those items for purchase in the Moogle synthesis shop.

Blazing, also called Blaze, is a material type introduced in Kingdom Hearts. Blazing materials contain the essence of fire.

Design
The Blazing materials are assigned the color red to distinguish them from other materials.
Blazing materials are colored red, and have flame trapped within them. A Blazing Shard is a blocky, crescent-shaped jewel. A Blazing Stone consists of three jewels, one shaped like an uneven cube and two with an oblong, pointy shape. A Blazing Gem consists of four jewels, a large facet cut jewel, with two smaller facet cut jewels at the sides, and a small, diamond-shaped jewel at the bottom. A Blazing Crystal consists of a large star-shaped jewel, with a smaller facet cut jewel at the bottom, and a diamond-shaped jewel on either side.

The material's name refers to the essence of fire it contains.
The Blazing materials in the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts II are known as "Flaming" materials.
