The '''Asura''' is a set of [[Lance]]s available to [[Xaldin]] in ''[[Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days]]''. It can be upgraded to the '''Asura+'''.

==Design==
An Asura lance's shaft is white in the center with indigo ends, with the two colors being separated by small, gold rings. The lower blade is orange and shaped like an arrowhead. The upper blade is also orange. It is long with a diamond-shaped tip and a thin spike on either side. It also has an indigo diamond towards the base of the blade.

Asura is both a recurring [[finalfantasy:Katana (Weapon)|Katana]] weapon and Summon in the ''Final Fantasy'' series, as well as a boss in ''[[finalfantasy:Final Fantasy IV|Final Fantasy IV]]'' and ''[[finalfantasy:Vagrant Story|Vagrant Story]]''. Asura is also the name of one of the servers from ''[[finalfantasy:Final Fantasy XI|Final Fantasy XI]]''.

Asuras are also mythological creatures in both {{w|Asura|Hinduism}}, in which they were groups of power-seeking deities, and {{w|Asura (Buddhism)|Buddhism}}, in which they are considered one of the {{w|Desire realm|Six Domains}}.

==Gameplay==
Asura's ground combo starts with a sideways slash using one lance, followed by a downward diagonal slash using the other lance. The next attack of the combo consists of Xaldin swinging his lances from the same starting point upward to two far points in a "V" formation. The combo ends with an attack that consists of Xaldin swinging all six lances in a circle above his head, resembling helicopter blades.

The aerial combo consists of Xaldin swinging his lances above him in a circular formation, like a fan, followed by a thrust of all six lances forwards at once in a pointed, star-like shape.
