The '''Aeroplane''' is an [[Emblem Heartless]] introduced in ''[[Kingdom Hearts II]]''.

==Design==
The Aeroplane is a grey-skinned creature with a yellow scarf and a jagged mouth. It pilots a fighter plane. Its legs are seen dangling from the bottom of the plane, showing that it wears brown shoes. The Heartless also wears a blue hat with black aviator goggles on its head. The plane that makes up the midsection of this Heartless's body is sky blue with a turquoise propeller. The plane also has a black nose with a few small, silver rivets on it, and it has conical, yellow guns on each wing. The Aeroplane has two Heartless emblems emblazoned on each side of the plane. Like all Heartless from the Timeless River, it is normally colored in monochrome, and it is only seen in color when outside the world.

In ''Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix'', the plane is predominantly dark green, its nose and guns are light green, and its rivets are yellow. Its propeller is now black with two yellow stripes on the tip of each of its blades. The Heartless itself has black skin, a white hat, and an orange scarf. 

The term "aeroplane" is synonym to "air plane," used chiefly in Great Britain. The hat and goggles worn by this Heartless reference the flight helmets or aviator hats worn by pilots.

==Strategy==
Aeroplanes fly around and fire tiny bullets at Sora. In a swarm, they can nail [[Sora]]'s party with rapid projectiles, which makes destroying them with long-range magic like [[Blizzard]] or [[Thunder]] easier than physically attacking them.
