In ''Kingdom Hearts'' Olympus Coliseum consists of three areas: the {{nihongo|'''{{a|Coliseum Gates}}'''|コロシアム前|Koroshiamu Mae|lit. "Colosseum Anterior"}} where [[Sora]] and his party enter, the {{nihongo|'''{{a|Coliseum: Lobby}}'''|ロビー|Robī|lit. "Lobby"}} where [[Phil]] briefs contestants and keeps the cups of the winners, and {{nihongo|'''{{a|The Coliseum}}'''|コロシアム|Koroshiamu}} itself, where the party competes against various combinations of [[Heartless]], villains, and other characters in the game. The Coliseum has rows of seat on each side with the arena itself being a square in the middle, having four massive pillars in each corner. These, as well as the square, will during certain battles be removed allowing for free access to the entire area. During the [[Platinum Match]] and later portions of the [[Hades Cup]] the squared arena space will be expanded into a long octagon, with eight, white and tall tree trunk-like structures in each corner.

 

 

In ''Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories'' Sora and party comes across a memory version of Olympus Coliseum inside of [[Castle Oblivion]]. The world is explored through boxed-in areas inspired by the world's general aesthetics. In cutscenes, areas such as the '''{{a|Coliseum Gates}}''', the '''{{a|Coliseum: Lobby}}''', and the '''{{a|The Coliseum}}''' are visited, with the last one serving as a boss arena.

"Underworld Arena"}} where Sora can talk to [[Pain and Panic]] to gain access to the tournaments there. From there, two paths into the Underworld branch off. Later in the story, the second path opens and allows the group to enter the {{nihongo|'''{{a|Underworld Caverns}}'''|冥界の大空洞|Meikai no Dai Kūdō|lit. "Great Cavity of the Underworld"}}. After going down through the {{nihongo|'''{{a|Entrance}}'''|入口|Iriguchi}}, the party travels through {{nihongo|'''{{a|The Lost Road}}'''|迷いの道|Mayoi no Michi}}, which in turn leads to the {{nihongo|'''{{a|Atrium}}'''|広間|Hiroma|lit. "Hall"}}. After an encounter with [[Demyx]], the party passes through to {{nihongo|'''{{a|The Lock}}'''|封印の間|Fūin no Ma|lit. "Chamber of the Seal"}}, where they can access the {{nihongo|'''{{a|Well of Captivity}}'''|囚われの間|Toraware no Ma|lit. "Room of Captivity"}} to fight [[Pete]] and rescue [[Meg]].

The Olympus Coliseum itself remain the same as it was in the first game. The Coliseum Gates will take Sora to the {{nihongo|'''{{a|Coliseum Foyer}}'''|コロシアム:ロビー|Koroshiamu: Robī|lit. "Coliseum: Lobby"}} where all the trophies he's previously won will still be on display. Passing further through will take Sora back to {{nihongo|'''{{a|The Coliseum}}'''|コロシアム|Koroshiamu}} where he can train with Phil. After a battle with the [[Hydra]] resulting in the Olympus Coliseum's destruction, only the Coliseum Gates will be accessible. The area's walls are broken on each side, with the statues being completely decimated and its pieces spread across the room. The Coliseum Foyer is reduced to nothing but rubble which leaves clear of The Coliseum. Certain elements from the foyer has been saved and placed on rocks outside, such as Sora's trophies and Phil's rule board.

During the credits the Olympus Coliseum are seen to be fully restored to its former self.

In ''Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days'', Olympus Coliseum is almost exactly the same as in ''Kingdom Hearts''. [[Roxas]] arrives at the Coliseum Gates, renamed  {{nihongo|'''{{a|Outside the Coliseum}}'''|コロシアム前|Koroshiamu Mae|lit. "Front of the Coliseum"}}, during his missions, and heads into the Coliseum Foyer, now renamed  {{nihongo|'''{{a|Coliseum Vestibule}}'''|ロビー|Robī|lit. "Lobby"}}. The room appears to be a lot bigger than it previously was. The world's final area is the {{nihongo|'''{{a|The Coliseum}}'''|コロシアム|Koroshiamu}}, where various {{c|games|KHD}} and mini-games take place.

In ''Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep'' the world is once again similar to how it's been in previous installments. Arriving at the world both [[Terra]] and [[Ventus]] land at the only new area {{nihongo|'''{{a|Town Near Thebes}}'''|テーベの町|Tēbe no Machi|lit. "Town of Thebes"}} which leads to the  {{nihongo|'''{{a|Coliseum Gates}}'''|入口広場|Iriguchi Hiroba|lit. "Entrance Square}}; where [[Aqua]] will make her arrival. From there the  {{nihongo|'''{{a|Vestibule}}'''|ロビー|Robī|lit. "Lobby"}} can be accessed where Hercules will be available to partake in the [[Break the Urns]] mini-game. The mini-game, as well as two cups and several battles, take place within the Coliseum, now renamed {{nihongo|'''{{a|Arena}}'''|西/東|Nishi/Azuma|lit. "West / East"}}.

After [[Pete]] tells Hades that Sora's [[Keyblade]] could open any lock, Hades uses it to unlock the Underworld Coliseum, which was sealed off by Zeus. Upon arriving at the Coliseum, the junior heroes reunite with Hercules and explain the situation. Hercules offers them to use the Olympus Stone, which shields them from the Underworld curse, though advises them to train under Phil to prepare for their battle with Hades. As the training continues, Hercules reveals that the Olympus Stone was stolen by someone in a black cloak. At the same time, Hades reveals he kidnapped Meg which prompts the Sora, Donald, and Goofy to rescue her while Hercules battles the [[Hydra]] in his match.
