Maleficent ended up travelling back to Enchanted Dominion which was still in the Book of Prophecies in the past. She learns of the sleeping as well as Princess' Aurora's existence as Briar Rose. Whne she successfully arranged for the curse to take effect, she imprisons Prince Philip in her castle. Maleficent then learns from him that because she was stabbed by Riku-Ansem back in Hollow Bastion, her heart and body was separated thus allowing her to travel in time using the knowledge Master Xehanort gave her. Darkness then revealed that she is locked in a preset story created by the [[Master of Masters]] by travelling back in time to her world which was never pulled from the Book of Prophecies before the Keyblade War.
