Kingdom Hearts Re:coded is an upcoming North American remake of Kingdom Hearts coded that will be released on the Nintendo DS.

Announcement

Kingdom Hearts Re:coded was announced to be one of Square Enix's games to be shown in the next annual E3 conference along with other titles such as Final Fantasy XIV. The information revealed seemes to show that the game still follows the story set in Kingdom Hearts coded. In the story, set after the conclusion of Kingdom Hearts II, Jiminy Cricket finds an entry in his journal that he didnt write. In an attempt to learn where it came from, King Mickey turns the journal into data. He finds Data Sora about to go on a journey similar to the story in the first Kingdom Hearts.
