— Why did Xehanort and co. word things as if to try and wake Ventus who is inside Sora?

Nomura: They did so in order to tempt Sora’s heart and have it fall to the darkness. In the story it also talks about how abandoning the self leads to losing the heart. When you see Vanitas (the dark half of Ventus who appeared in KHBBS) overlay Young Xehanort for a moment, that represents Ventus’ heart reacting inside Sora.

This implies that Nightmare Armor Ventus is Vanitas.

Oh yes, because Vanitas's heart was the one who wears Ventus's armor, right? And he fights like Ventus? That was a huge jump of logic you just did. That was entirely about that one scene where Vanitas appeared and nothing to do with the armor or NAV. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 22:35, 15 May 2012 (UTC)

Well it appears that Vanitas is the darkness in Ventus' and by extension Sora's heart and since the Nightmare Armor is Sora succumbing to the darkness, it is effectivley Sora controlled by Vanitas.--124.150.58.146 12:39, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
