However, Sora spends little time as a [[Sora's Heartless|Heartless]], as Kairi's light fetches Sora's heart from the darkness, restoring him to his former self shortly after he becomes a Heartless.

Normally, a Nobody would look like their original self, albeit with some minor changes; however, this wasn't the case with Roxas. At the time Roxas was created, Sora also held [[Ventus]]'s heart within his own; it remained with Sora's body and soul when it became a Nobody; as a result, Roxas didn't look like Sora, instead taking on Ventus's features.

Sora visits Twilight Town after [[Vexen]] gives him the world card. Sora doesn't recognize the world, but Donald and Goofy point out that he must, as it was created from his memories. Vexen tells Sora that it was made from the memories found on the other side of his heart. This references to Roxas as Vexen met Roxas before leaving for Castle Oblivion.
