It was officially announced at the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World of Tres- on June 8, 2019, and is the first major downloadable expansion in the Kingdom Hearts series. It is set to be released in January 23, 2019 on the PS4 and Feburary 25, 2019 on the Xbox.
