Master Magic (マスターマジック Masutā Majikku?) is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts II. It powers up the user's magic.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts II, Master Magic is an action ability exclusive to Master Form. It increases the effectiveness of magic and alters how magic functions. Magic can no longer be strung into combo and some types of magic perform differently from usual.

  • When casting Fire, Sora dashes forward while surrounded by a ring of fire.
  • For Blizzard, Sora leaps forward, sprays ice particles in a wide range and then retreats with a back flip.
  • For Thunder, Sora jumps into the air and moves in an arc, while forks of lightning are cast besides him.
  • Reflect causes Sora to take a small step forward before conjuring a barrier.

  • Master Form has Master Magic as a default ability.
